Dear Alumni and Illini Family,
Welcome to our new website! This site is a forum for communicating information about the chapter and our events to members in Tampa Bay area.
Despite being 1000 miles away from campus, the Illini Club of Tampa Bay is here to help chapter members continue their lifelong Illini experience. In addition to Tampa Bay alumni and their families, our chapter serves current students, parents, and families of students that live in the Tampa Bay area.
Our volunteer Board of Directors works hard to keep the Illini spirit alive through a variety of service and social events. Whether it’s football and basketball viewing parties, local entertainment events, or scholarship distribution to local students, the Illini are mixing it up throughout Tampa Bay. Regardless of what your interests are, we’re likely to have something that will suit you. If we don’t, please let us know, and we’ll work on scheduling an event that brings your love of Tampa Bay and University of Illinois together!We all have wonderful memories of our time in Champaign-Urbana…but we’re still creating new Illini memories. If you’re one of the more than 2,000 Illini living in the Tampa Bay are, then we want to encourage you to get involved!
